My son is learning about Star Trek and Star Wars concurrently, which presents occasional confusion for the aspiring nerd. The other day I heard him talk about Han Solo getting frozen in corbomite. Obviously, I could not let this error go unchecked, so I took the opportunity to educate him on the difference between carbonite and corbomite.

If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.

Follow-up: Jack built a Lego ship the other day that he says can go Worf speed. I'll let it slide. At least he's not mixing series this time.
